While Christopher and I (Sarah) are the primary Sassafras team, we couldn't do it without the help of our kids! Each brings their own unique talents to the business, and you'll often see them featured on our social media posts.
Why Start A Small Business?
We have always loved being crafty and creative. But taking our hobbies to the next level and creating a business was not always the plan. In 2012 Sarah had to end her career as a teacher and childcare administrator due to the effects of living with ALS. As the kids grew, she was able to focus on crafting and growing the business as a way to stay active and have a sense of purpose.
