We are a husband and wife team that appreciates the beauty of natural materials. We give new life to old pieces and create unique items for your home. We select products made by other artisans that reflect our love of quality craftsmanship.

Where To Find Us

The Sassafras Family creates handmade products in our home in Pennsburg, Pa. Our customers find us at craft shows local to the Philadelphia suburbs and on social media, including Facebook and Instagram. We also offer an online marketplace experience through Squarespace and Etsy. Currently we offer shipping for most of our products to the lower 48 United States.

Over 93% of our products are made directly by our family or by other small businesses based in the U.S. Our handmade serving boards, wood-turned bowls, and many of our signs are crafted using locally sourced and reclaimed wood. Our family loves the challenge of upcycling and repurposing, bringing new life to discarded items. We focus on products that will make both the inside and outside of your living spaces feel like a home.
